“Plans to overhaul the area around a former bus transfer point at the intersection of South Park Street and West Badger Road are now expected to bring 200 income-restricted apartments and underground parking to Madison’s South Side along with a new fire station and consolidated health care services.

Updated designs released this week by the Community Development Authority and its private partners feature an eight-story building on the corner with aoubt 160 one-bedroom through three-bedroom units and a five-story building next door with about 40 units for seniors. All of the apartments would have in-unit laundry, and most would have a balcony or patio, in addition to shared community spaces indoors, on the rooftops and between the buildings.”
